A civil engineering consulting firm is looking to add a Project Manager to their team in Lafayette, Indiana. This position will perform various engineering tasks related to highway/roadway and traffic engineering type and is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints. 

The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer with the State of Illinois and possesses B.S. in Civil Engineering. This position has the opportunity to become a hybrid role after a probationary period.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Plans, develops, designs, and manages projects for public agency clients and IDOT.
• Manages and supervises the entire design process including preparation of plans, specifications and estimates
• Leads and manages the work of direct reports based upon project schedule, plans & specifications
• Ensures QA/QC is completed on all projects
• Creates and maintains client relationships and business development for various public sectors
• Interfaces and coordinates with subconsultants to support contracts and procurement/sourcing functions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer with the State of Illinois
• 8+ years of experience as a Project manager in transportation engineering
• Experience with IDOT and/or traffic signal system experience is a plus
