A leading general contractor in Denver, Colorado is seeking to add a Senior Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager with multifamily and commercial experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with projects valuing $50M+. This role will plan, schedule supervise, coordinate and over see productivity and execution in the field work of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the phase of work or task assigned by engaging and giving feedback on all aspects of the work objective through performance with the team.
- Assist the project manager with collecting and reviewing subcontractor/vendor billings & invoices, reviewing of monthly costs, and assembling change orders.
- Own daily safety, quality, and execution of the assigned work objective or daily task related to the phase of work on the project.
- Plan and execute assigned tasks (work objectives) by performing and utilizing information, tools, and processes appropriate for the task or phase of work
- Track production through various logs including time and quantities and actual versus budget calculations, including an analysis of the reason for variance.
- Assists with pre-construction to include estimating
- Prepares submittal schedules and weekly submittal status reports
- Understand project scope, schedule, safety, and quality for the assigned projects.
Requirements:
- Construction Management degree, Civil Engineering degree, or related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in multifamily structural construction
- Possess the ability to work well in a team environment and is a self-motivated and engaged individual
- Procore, bluebeam, p6, knowledge preferred not required
Compensation & Benefits:
- $85,000 - $120,000 depending on experience. Exact compensation may vary and has potential to increase depending on client.
