The Senior Estimator will ensure safe, productive, and effective operations by:

• Identifying and quantifying construction elements
• Entering quantities into pricing software
• Providing initial data for Commence software
• Supplying Contracts Department with specifications for insurance requirements
• Sending new contracts for review
• Cultivating vendor relationships and assessing capabilities
• Analyzing and scoping vendors for best value
• Completing estimates, including bid form requirements and special equipment needs
• Researching construction history for value engineering
• Packaging and sending proposals on time
• Following up with clients for bid receipt and deal closure
• Developing client relationships for future opportunities
• Collecting data on lost jobs for market monitoring
• Providing information to Marketing post-bid
• Tracking projects until awarded
• Setting up transition meetings for Project Managers
• Providing overview of proposals to project teams
• Assisting with changes and submittal approvals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field and 7+ years' experience, or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Estimating software
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret technical documents and regulations
• Effective client and team interaction
• Understanding of safety and OSHA requirements in estimates
