A  concrete contractor has an immediate opening for a Superintendent on their team in Richmond, Virginia. The Project Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing the installation of the project work by directing co-workers and coordinating and directing other trades. This role is responsible for the supervision, planning, productivity and completion of their phase of work as well as managing high level client relationships with professional conduct.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing a project plan for their phase of work
• Performs QA and QC on audits on work in place, including placing, shoring, steel reinforcing, post-tensioning for compliance with project specifications. 
• Understands project information and is able to identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase of work.
• Prepares their team to execute using defined planning processes.
• Ensures their team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
• Completes daily project reports, sign in sheets and concrete log
• Responsible for ensuring project execution goals are met for their portion of work.
• Communicates project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.
• Coordinates schedules of subcontractors, supplies, vendors and craft to meet project schedules and timelines.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in concrete construction on commercial projects; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong oral communication skills, attention to detail analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Regular travel is required

Compensation & Benefits

• $75,000 - $105,000 depending on experience. Exact compensation may vary and has potential to increase depending on client.
