Construction Project Manager - Structural Concrete

A concrete subcontractor has an immediate opening for  a Project Manager with experience in structural concrete to join their team in Richmond, Virginia. The project manager is responsible leading the project team to ensure that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints.


  • Responsible for preconstruction items including submittals, list of key suppliers, final budgets, and schedules
  • Lead and manage the work of direct reports based upon project schedule, plans & specifications
  • Schedules and manages owner, subcontractor and supplier meetings through each phase of construction
  • Works directly with superintendents to oversee finances and budgets, construction, safety, and job responsibilities
  • Generates and maintains project budgets, SOVs, and schedules to ensure targets are met
  • Creates and maintains client relationships by effectively communicating with client throughout process and attending client meetings
  • Oversees and regulates risk management process and project safety 
  • Manages project productivity, schedule, and safety
  • On a monthly basis, prepares, monitors and presents Job Cost reports to Management and Company Controller
  • Prepares and issues technical reports including but not limited to: change orders, project proposals, RFP’s, budgets, & preliminary schedules


  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering; 5+ years experience in  concrete construction management, with 2+ years experience in commercial construction; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • OSHA 30

Compensation & Benefits

  • $75,000 - $105,000 depending on experience. Exact compensation may vary and has potential to increase depending on client.
